The Bluebrick Gallery, located in the heart of historic Gettysburg, displays and offers for sale original local art. Comprised of local artists and art educators, the Bluebrick provides an intimate setting in which to experience the diversity and depth of our local artistic community. The Bluebrick strives to contribute to that larger tapestry, offering workshops and demonstrations, sharing our work as we engage in the creation and celebration of art!

As the Bluebrick Gallery comes upon our 8 year anniversary, we would like to reflect on where we've been and where we are going. What started out as a creative whim of Jill Rakowicz and Lisa Harman, soon became the reality of a small co op gallery with 7 fellow artists and friends. It evolved over the years with changing co op members even as our own lives changed and evolved. If you glance back through our photo and video section, you will see an impressive array of art making and community art events. Great memories were made. Unfortunately, last year, due to some personal and medical issues with gallery owner Lisa Harman, the co op portion of the gallery dissolved. It is now the gallery and working studio of Lisa and Anita Murphy Williams, who are both working towards an MFA in Fine Arts. We also still carry a small inventory of work from some of the original Bluebrick artists. Represented are Jill Rakowicz, Wendy HeigesClare MargaretAnna L. StonerErin BrownJudy PyleDana Lou Bruinsma, and Deborah Yargar-Reed. We will open the gallery whenever we are there working and are also very flexible on opening at other times. Text Lisa if you are going to be in town and want to make sure we are open. 717-420-0103 Watch for First Friday info coming up as we have some special events and guests lined up! Thank you so much for being a Bluebrick supporter all of these years! We are honored.
