Artist Statement
There is no simple way to describe why I am drawn to the things I photograph. Sometimes I feel a connection with a place, an item, or person and can't move on until I've captured it as I think it deserves to be seen. Sometimes I just find something simply beautiful and don't want to forget the atmosphere I've found it in. I've always felt a pull towards things left behind by man. I find it so interesting how some manmade items can gracefully exist alongside nature. It is the interplay of these two different worlds that I find fascinating.
